Hernan Garcia | Recent Works February 10 - March 10, 2012
Cremata Gallery presents the most recent works of Hernan Garcia. After his successful exhibition in Paris at ARS Atelier in November~December 2011, the show comes to Miami. Highly acclaimed and extensively published in “El Economista.es", and ARS Atelier City No.4 in October 2011, Hernan with his particular "vocabulary’ using the Chair as protagonist follows in the steps of great masters as Goya in his "Caprichos" . Van Gogh with his "Gaughin Chair", Picasso's chair where he painted Dora Maar and Lam in his famous painting "La silla", 1943 hanging at the National Museum in Havana.

Juan Carlos Llera: Paradox & Freedom September 25 - November 20, 2011
The latest works by Juan Carlos Llera. After his years at Elite Fine Art and his successful exhibitions in New York at the University at Buffalo Art Gallery and later at the Bertha V.B. Lederer Gallery in January 2010, his works have only been seen in Miami on rare occasions. Juan Carlos Llera's rich background in oil painting and manipulated computer-generated photographic imagery come to a climax in this collection.

Amelia Peláez,Mariano Rodriguez,Rene Portocarrero ,Víctor Manuel Garcia ,Roberto Diago ,Luis Martinez-Pedro,Arístides Fernandez were among the painters to whom Lezama dedicated important essays.

an exhibition featuring an exciting collection of acrylics,oils,collages,inks,and watercolors,from the fifties to today. From Italo-Argentinean Modernist masters Bruno Venier and Carlo Monzani,who has exhibited at the Guggenheim Museum in NYC,to contemporary artists living in Argentina,were showcased--17 artists with very different styles. Like U. S. art,Argentine art has a strong flavor of the melting pot that has lately been turning from European influences to its native resources. Many of the paintings and water colors in the show were inspired by the École de Paris,from staid academic works to surrealism.
